Located 70 kilometres north of Greenvale (via short cut road if accessible), 140 kilometres west
of Ingham, 235 kilometres north of Charters Towers, 255 kilometres north-west of Townsville and
260 kilometres south of Atherton.
The property is located between Cairns, Ingham, the Atherton Tablelands, Charters Towers, Mount
Surprise and Hughenden.

The natural timbers on the property include
narrow-leaved ironbark, box, lancewood, eucalyptus, blue gum, black ti tree, gum top box, bottle tree, bloodwood,

The pastures consist of a mix of spear grass, bluegrass, wire grass, forest mitchell, kangaroo grass, cane grass and various native species. Multiple varieties of improved stylo
species include secca stylo, verano stylo and
wynn cassia.
The soils are predominantly yellow and red
duplex loams, gravelly red clays, and alluvial
soils along the creeks. Hopewell Creek itself
features open black soil flats, while the
surrounding country transitions from black
soil to elevated granite areas, with softwood
scrub scattered throughout.
Water
Hopewell, Perry, Paddys and Redbank Creek systems, along with earth catchment dams, are interspersed
throughout the property. The primary livestock water is supplied via reliable earth dams. Seasonal
water is available along the creek lines during the wet season months.
