Located just 50 km north of Mount Surprise via 38km of built-up gravel on the Springfield-Almaden road and 14km of bitumen Savanah way highway. The road offers access throughout a majority of the wet season only being blocked by localised flooded creeks.

“Burlington” offers highly regarded Basalt grazing with significant carrying capacity suitable for breeding and backgrounding. The soil types include productive black basalt soils predominately along the Fossilbrook Creek frontage and the North-eastern end of the property. Black soil frontage encompasses both the Saltwater Creek and Lynd River. Large areas of red basalt country running into open granite ridges and steeper granite hills make up the Western and Southern boundaries.
Grasses include Black Spear, Bluegrass, Urachloa, Golden Beard, Indian Couch, Panic, forest Mitchell and Kangaroo Grass. Interspersed with numerous summer herbages along with large bodies of Secca and Verano Stylos. Areas of grader grass do exist on Burlington Station however these have been greatly reduced over recent years through grazing management.

“Burlington” has several small seasonal creeks running into the main creek systems and the Lynd River. There is approximately 6.5km of double frontage to the Lynd, 14km of double frontage to Fossilbrook Creek and 12km of double frontage to Saltwater Creek.

Currently a small section of multi species pasture is being irrigated via 2 x K-Lines 60m long with 4 sprinklers each. This is serviced by a Grundfos multi stage pump from Fossilbrook creek.
There is an existing Mango plantation of approximately 20 acres with an additional 100 acres of cleared land around the plantation.

Internal and external fencing is mainly 3 barb and steel picket in good order. 82km of new fence has been built in the last 3 years.
The fences are good quality three and four barb wire fencing, majority in very good condition. Tree regrowth has been maintained along fence line with Grasslands and machine usage. All major watering points are fenced with squares.
